A variegated hosta variety that changes its leaf color throughout the season, Hosta Whirlwind is an excellent addition to your garden. The unusually wavy and twisted leaves of this mid-sized hosta form dense mounds.
As the season progresses, Hosta Whirlwind's heart-shaped to ovate leaves go from being pale chartreuse in spring to bright yellow in summer, before finally fading to a muted green in late summer. The leaves have wide irregular margins of streaking olive green.
